We’re thrilled to be the proud new owners of a Planika Scandi bioethanol stove. The wait for delivery was a bit lengthy (initially 6-8 weeks, but it stretched to about 16 weeks), and we were hoping to have it set up before Christmas, which didn’t pan out due to various delays and parts shortages. Throughout the process, the wonderful Gal at Planika kept us in the loop, so it never felt like a big deal, and he really went above and beyond to ease our disappointment.
The stove showed up last week, and it’s just fantastic; we adore its sleek, simple design and the genuine flame it produces. It operates quietly, though there is a noticeable chemical odor from the fuel, but we’ve been informed that this isn’t the usual fuel Planika provides. We did experience another minor delay in getting the fuel for our Scandi, but Gal was super kind and arranged for an express delivery of a different fuel to hold us over until their stock arrives, which is set for this week.
One small detail we didn’t know about is that the stove delivery is 'kerbside' only, so be prepared to unpack it from the delivery pallet and bring it into your home yourself. It definitely takes two people to manage that. Other than that, we wholeheartedly recommend Planika, and a special shoutout to Gal for all the assistance and updates along the way. Thanks a bunch!

Fantastic quality item and fast service, much appreciated!

A buddy of mine suggested I try this item. The main issue I faced was how long it took to arrive. I’m grateful I snagged a deal on a package, so I guess that might’ve caused the delay. I had to reach out for updates on shipping instead of getting notifications, and it took weeks instead of just a few days. The item looks great, but don’t expect it to warm up a room. You really can’t beat their pricing, so if there’s a lot of interest, be prepared to wait a bit for it to show up.

I got myself some more of that premium bioethanol fuel, 20 litres in total (4 canisters of 5 litres each) for my 'Simple' and FLA3 automatic fire.

Planika has really stepped up their game by making quality fuel right here in Wales instead of bringing it in from Poland. The service is super fast now, and my original purchase (the fire) is still just as awesome as it was when I bought it over a year ago. Kudos to them!

The wait times are way too long, and they take ages to reply to any inquiries. I'm still hanging on for a refund, and it's been two weeks since I asked to cancel my order. They couldn't provide a delivery date, and I placed my order more than three months back.

Planika's customer support team is truly top-notch! They reply to online chats and emails right away, even on weekends and late at night! My Skandi stove delivery faced some delays in Poland, which is totally understandable given the current political climate near their borders. However, they kept me in the loop, and every effort was made to ensure it arrived at a time that worked for me. The stove was beautifully packed and brought right into my hallway. Aside from needing to switch to a three-pin plug for the ignition cable, setting it up was a breeze—quick, easy, and effective. It was running in no time! Operating it is super simple, and it looks really sleek and stylish, fitting in with just about any home decor. The heat kicks in as soon as the flame is lit, and I've even been able to turn off my central heating in the evenings since the warmth spreads throughout my house so quickly.

I also own a Chantico tabletop stove, which is both pretty and functional. It makes a lovely centerpiece and will definitely be part of our Christmas festivities.

I couldn't be happier with both of my stoves, and dealing with such a generous, helpful, and effective company has been a real pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend Planika to anyone looking for quality products and service!

I received a bioethanol fireplace as a birthday gift and really liked its design; however, I ran into a few problems - the duration of the burn and the time it took to refill. I reached out to Planika, and they were incredibly helpful - they figured out that my unit was defective and promptly sent a replacement, which fixed my problem. I'm super happy and would absolutely shop with them again. 10/10

I’m sharing my thoughts before we even receive the item. We placed this order on the same day as the Faro fireplace from a different company, and that arrived in just a few days. Good thing we didn’t get everything from Planika, or we’d still be in limbo! It’s been two weeks and we’re still waiting for a cover 🤷‍♂️
